Endoscopy and GI Registered Nurse Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Endoscopy and GI Registered Nurse to join our team at Health Advocates Network. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Job Summary

This Endoscopy and GI Registered Nurse position is a 12-week contract opportunity with the possibility of extension. You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Endoscopy and GI department, providing direct patient care and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and support in the Endoscopy and GI department
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to physicians
  • Participate in patient education and discharge planning
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience as an Endoscopy and GI Registered Nurse
  • American Heart Association BLS certification
  • Active, current (NY) state license
  • Telemetry experience
