We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team at Yale New Haven Health. As a NICU RN, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and plan individualized patient care to achieve desired outcomes
- Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Evaluate patient response to care and revise plans as needed
- Provide education to patients and families on neonatal care and management
- Function as a preceptor to new staff and as a charge nurse
- Meet performance expectations for customer service, teamwork, and staff development
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred
- Valid State of Connecticut Registered Nurse license
- BLS and NRP certification required
- NICU Certification required within two years after completion of orientation
