About the Role:
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Infojini Healthcare, you will play a vital part in our team's efforts to provide high-quality patient care. Your primary responsibility will be to perform nuclear medicine procedures, PET, and theranostic procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients as requested by physicians or other licensed providers for the diagnosis of disease and injury in accordance with established protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform nuclear medicine procedures, PET, and theranostic procedures on patients as requested by physicians or other licensed providers.
• Evaluate the quality of imaging procedures and maintain equipment by performing quality control as required by manufacturers, radiation materials license, or American College of Radiology.
• Communicate with patients to identify service requirements, ensure correct exams are performed, and establish rapport with patients and others.
• Instruct and communicate with patients and their families regarding tests to be performed and assess patients' ability to tolerate exams.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Nuclear Medicine (ARRT-N) or by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (CNMT) as a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT).
• Ability to observe changes in medical conditions and effectively communicate changes to nursing partners, physicians, and emergency response teams as needed.
• Demonstrates current knowledge, continued education, and skills appropriate for patient care across various age groups.
• Performs tasks independently without routine oversight and maintains a calm and helpful attitude under stress.
• Guarantees customer satisfaction by limiting wait times, providing courteous service, and remaining professional.
