We are seeking an experienced Engineering Supervisor to lead our Cartridge Valve design team at our Glendale Heights, IL facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage the day-to-day activities of the design engineering team
  • Design and develop Solenoid Valves, Pressure Control Valves, Directional Valves, and Proportional Valves
  • Set short and long-term goals for the team and mentor team members to grow their capabilities
  • Verify the output of the team through design reviews, simulation studies, and drawing checking
  • Collaborate with the Product Management team to bring new products to market and work closely with the Manufacturing team to develop robust processes
  • Conduct research into new technologies, materials, or processes and create and apply design standards
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Prior experience in fluid power design and project management ability
  • Knowledge of material properties, manufacturing processes, and simulation techniques such as FEA and CFD
  • Expertise in drafting, GD&T, hydraulic principles, circuit diagrams, and symbols
