Position Overview

We are excited to present an opportunity for a Property Financial Analyst within a thriving organization in the finance sector. This hybrid role is designed for a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in property accounting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all facets of property financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, account reconciliation, and general ledger oversight.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Utilize Yardi software for effective property management accounting and reporting.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analyses to uncover trends, variances, and areas for enhancement.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all financial data and reports.
  • Collaborate with finance team members to optimize accounting processes and procedures.
  • Adhere to all federal, state, and local legal requirements by reviewing existing and new legislation, ensuring compliance, and advising management on necessary actions.
  • Assist with annual audits and provide essential information to external auditors.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in property accounting or a comparable role.
  • Expertise in financial reporting, account reconciliation, and general ledger management.
  • Strong financial analysis capabilities with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Extensive experience with accounts payable and receivable.
  • Proficiency in Yardi software is essential.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
