Job Summary

Orlando Health is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team. As a critical care nurse, you will provide exceptional patient care to critically ill and injured adult patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced hemodynamic monitoring, artificial airway and ventilator management, and other treatments necessary to aggressively treat complex acutely ill and critically ill patients.
  • Work collaboratively with intensivist-led teams to consult and manage patients in the ICU.
  • Function as part of a multi-disciplinary team, including physicians, social workers, case managers, physical and occupational therapists, respiratory therapists, dietitians, chaplains, and pharmacists, to meet the needs of critically ill patients.
  • Admit intermediate and med-surg overflow patients as needed.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
  • Meets all mandatory, developmental, and performance competency requirements for Orlando Health and the unit/department.
  • Maintains current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Florida or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
  • Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
  • ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC are required for certain areas.
  • 1 year ICU or PCU experience.
