The DDU Ward features 20 beds dedicated to the care of acutely ill medical patients under the surgical directorate. This unique setting includes a clinic area, providing a chance to rotate and gain invaluable experience in clinical assessment after developing your gastroenterology skills.
Key Responsibilities
In our fast-paced and demanding environment, we seek a committed individual to enhance our friendly and progressive team. The DDU is on the lookout for a passionate and innovative Band 5 nurse to contribute to our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate should be prepared to work in a high-turnover environment, managing patients who are acutely unwell. The successful applicant will be expected to deliver exceptional care while embodying our trust values: accountability, compassion, respect, and engagement.
We provide tailored training to meet the specific needs of the ward, including competencies related to gastroenterology and opportunities to lead nurse-led clinics, paving the way for career advancement within this specialty.
