Job Opportunity: Phlebotomist

This is a contract job opportunity with potential for permanent placement. The successful candidate will work as a Phlebotomist, assisting in the collection of blood and other specimens for laboratory testing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and process blood and other specimens for laboratory testing
  • Label and centrifuge specimens as required
  • Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes
  • Package specimens for transport
  • Store specimens according to required temperature
Requirements:
  • Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where employed
  • Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bi-lingual
  • Color vision test
  • Clean driving record
Working Conditions:

The Phlebotomist will work in a fast-paced laboratory environment, with frequent exposure to blood and other bodily fluids. The position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Benefits:

Benefits are available, including pay rate of $22 per hour.
