The Norton Healthcare Brain Tumor Center, a collaborative initiative between Norton Neuroscience Institute and Norton Cancer Institute, stands as the largest and most comprehensive neuro-oncology program in the region. We are dedicated to serving our expanding patient community through exceptional patient care and innovative clinical trials. Our multidisciplinary team comprises neuro-oncologists, neurosurgeons, radiation oncologists, behavioral oncologists, neuropsychologists, speech-language therapists, and neurological rehabilitation specialists, all coordinated by a dedicated neuro-oncology patient navigator.
Our physicians are equipped with the latest advancements in technology and oncology through access to over 200 clinical trials, including Phase 1 trials and next-generation sequencing, ensuring the provision of cutting-edge targeted therapies. Recognized as a Center of Excellence in radiation oncology, our center utilizes state-of-the-art stereotactic radiosurgery technology, including TrueBeam STX. Furthermore, our comprehensive neurosurgery program employs advanced techniques and technologies to deliver minimally invasive neurosurgical care, featuring innovations such as laser interstitial thermal therapy and intraoperative neurosurgical robotics. As a multidisciplinary program, the Brain Tumor Center provides a diverse array of treatment options tailored to each patient. Patient outcomes are meticulously tracked and presented at national meetings annually, including those organized by the Society for Neuro-Oncology.
Our providers are integral members of Norton Medical Group, a physician-led medical group that encompasses over 1,700 medical professionals and offers a robust network of referrals.
POSITION DETAILS
- Completion of either neurology or oncology residency training is required; neuro-oncology fellowship training is essential.
- No stroke call required for neurology-based providers, and no benign hematology call for oncology providers.
