Tax Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Advisor to join our team at H&R Block. As a Tax Advisor, you will play a critical role in providing expert tax guidance and support to our clients.

• Provide tax preparation, tax audit support, and tax planning services to clients year-round.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique tax needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Conduct tax interviews face-to-face and through virtual tools, ensuring clients feel confident and informed about their tax situation.
• Identify opportunities to grow business and increase client retention, offering additional products and services as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with tax laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and providing expert advice to clients.

• 5+ years of tax experience, with a strong background in individual tax returns and tax planning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent.
• Must complete continuing education requirements and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements.
