Job Description

The Fluid Systems Design Lead will play a crucial role in designing, operating, and maintaining launch infrastructure to meet established requirements and determine additional requirements as necessary. This position requires collaboration with other departments to support mission objectives and complete various process and regulatory documentation.

  • Design, install, and maintain launch support systems, including fluids Ground Support Equipment.
  • Support launch-day console and red-team operations as required.
  • Lead design reviews and operations readiness reviews.
  • Plan and coordinate launch site projects with local and remote staff.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues and non-conformances that arise during operations, and support failure and anomaly investigations.
  • Work with test site and launch site responsible engineers and technicians to optimize system designs and operations.
  • Write and execute procedures to support the operation and maintenance of fluids systems.
  • Support development of company processes, guidelines, and training.
  • Direct the work of other Fluids and Mechanical GSE team members and support hiring efforts.
