About This RoleThis Staff Pharmacist position is a critical role in our organization, responsible for supporting the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing our Pharmacy Technician Support Staff. A key component of this role is keeping our customers and patients healthy through adoption and management of patient care programs. As a Staff Pharmacist, you will lead with heart, displaying empathy and compassion for our patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues on your team. You will motivate, inspire, and develop your Pharmacy Support Staff by balancing assignments that maximize their strengths, address development opportunities, and decrease knowledge gaps.
You will identify critical business opportunities and contribute to the development of meaningful solutions to drive growth and improve performance in your pharmacy. You will successfully implement those solutions by leading your team to achieve specified goals. Adaptability is key in this role, as you will need to adjust plans to thrive in a dynamic community healthcare setting.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need to have an active pharmacy license in the state in which you are employed, not be on the DEA Excluded Parties List, and have immunization certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA). You must also be free of pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.
We prefer candidates with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree.
BenefitsAs a valued member of our team, you will enjoy a range of benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage. You may also enroll in our 401(k) retirement savings plan and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. We offer a fully-paid term life insurance plan and short-term and long-term disability benefits. In addition, you can take advantage of well-being programs, education assistance, free development courses, a CVS store discount, and discount programs with participating partners.
We also provide Paid Time Off (PTO) or vacation pay, as well as paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Number of paid holidays, sick time, and other time off are provided consistent with relevant state law and Company policies.
Our estimated salary range for this role is $60.00 - $73.00 per hour.
