Position Summary
This role is designed for a visionary scientist or engineer keen on utilizing their knowledge in Biomechanical or Biomedical Engineering to create advanced systems and products for long-term care environments. Key responsibilities include:
  • Developing biological computer simulations.
  • Creating systems for physiological measurement, motion capture, gait analysis, and sensor data processing and analysis.
  • Engaging in multiple full-time, multi-year research and development initiatives funded by reputable institutions.

Qualifications and Skills

The perfect candidate will possess research experience in biomechanics or biomedical fields, showcasing a passion for engineering and science, and will be adept in both hardware and software domains. A relevant advanced degree in Biomechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a closely related discipline is essential.


  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, Tensorflow, PyTorch, CUDA, or similar.
  • Understanding of Deep Learning tools and methodologies applied in 3D Computer Graphics and Animation.
  • Experience with sensor technologies, particularly millimeter wave sensors.
  • Demonstrated research experience and publications.
  • Ability to develop effective methodologies and infrastructure from concept to prototype and product.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing environments and multi-machine configurations.
  • A collaborative spirit with the ability to tackle intricate problems independently or as part of a team.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a knack for innovation in practical settings.
  • A PhD in Biomechanical or Biomedical Engineering is preferred, though candidates with advanced degrees in Mechatronics, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Electrical or Computer Engineering, along with relevant experience, will also be considered.
