Construction Project Director

We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Director to join our team at Wilhelm Construction.
A successful candidate will have 7-10 years of relevant experience in the construction industry and hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on qualifications and location.
Job Description:
As a Construction Project Director, you will be responsible for managing project teams and overseeing all aspects of construction projects from start to finish. This includes developing project schedules, analyzing costs, and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Forecast and analyze construction costs, exposures, and profits.
- Develop a schedule for all phases of the build.
- Assist with permits, required due dates, and communicate any impact to the proposed schedule.
- Develop and implement project-specific processes and procedures.
- In conjunction with the Project Superintendent, lead, direct, and coordinate the day-to-day management and construction activities.
- Manage project costs through ongoing evaluations of labor, material, and equipment.
- Interface with all company departments as necessary to resolve any issue.
- The liaison between the client, the company, subcontractors, and government officials.
- Ensure all safety measures, procedures, and requirements are met, followed, and practiced.
- Ensure substantial completion as defined in the specifications.
- Assist with the submission of record drawings, maintenance manuals & warranties to ensure a smooth and successful closeout.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Science, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of relevant work experience in the construction industry.
- Osha 30 Certification.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
