Job Title: Bilingual Clinician - Mental Health Specialist

Job Summary:

The National Youth Advocate Program (NYAP) is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Bilingual Clinician - Mental Health Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our clinical services team, you will provide culturally sensitive and trauma-informed mental health services to children and youth in our care.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct mental health assessments and provide individual and group counseling services to children and youth
  • Screen for trauma, human trafficking, and crisis intervention services
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maintain a therapeutic and emotionally healing environment
  • Establish treatment goals and assist in the implementation of individualized service plans
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to team clinicians
  • Screen for human trafficking concerns and provide crisis intervention services
  • Regularly review and modify individual service plans in collaboration with the case management team

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in social work or a related field
  • Licensed based on state requirements
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a good driving record
  • Bilingual English/Spanish fluency
  • Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, internet search, and software applications
