Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Analyst to join our team at NV Energy. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the company's tax compliance and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the preparation of the company's property-related tax compliance, including the utilization of the PowerTax system.
  • Assist with and/or prepare various tax-related documents, including income tax accruals, regulatory reports, and franchise and property tax filings.
  • Identify potential tax issues, opportunities for tax savings, and ways to improve tax compliance efficiency.
  • Establish and maintain work relationships within the department and the company.
  • Ensure all compliance aspects of the position are known and followed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field and 4 years of related accounting or tax experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state tax laws, accounting, and company operations.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
  • Ability to interact with company personnel and provide accurate input into the budget process.

  • Competitive salary range: $87,600 (Min) to $103,100 (Mid)
