Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership: Oversee the daily operations of the MRI department, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and leadership to MRI technologists, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Imaging Services: Stay up-to-date on the latest technology and advancements in MRI imaging, promoting high-quality services to patients.
  • Accreditation and Compliance: Ensure that all accreditation standards are met, maintaining the highest level of quality and safety.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate MRI equipment and other devices, ensuring proper use and maintenance.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.
  • Certifications: Registered by ARRT with certification in Radiography and MRI technologist, or certified by ARMRIT.
  • Skills: Leadership skills, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, as well as experience in personnel leadership and knowledge of regulatory and ACR accreditation requirements.
