Salon Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Salon Coordinator to join our dynamic team at SmartStyle by YSG. As a key member of our salon team, you will be responsible for leading by example, resolving challenges with professionalism, and bringing out the best in others.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead by example and resolve challenges with professionalism
• Bring out the best in others by being the best yourself in training, developing your team, creating a positive work environment, providing guidance on business and technical competency matters, and keeping the salon's bottom line in mind
• Recruit and train new team members, handle conflicts, and address client concerns with professionalism
• Closing out the system and wrapping up another day of fabulousness in the world of styling

Requirements:

• Ability to lead by example and resolve challenges with professionalism
• Ability to bring out the best in others by being the best yourself in training, developing your team, creating a positive work environment, providing guidance on business and technical competency matters, and keeping the salon's bottom line in mind
• A current cosmetology or barber license as required by state regulations
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
• Tech-savviness with the ability to perform administrative tasks
• Ability to stand, lift, bend, and perform repetitive movements, occasionally lifting 10-25 lbs
