About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced engineer to support the design, analysis, and testing of our electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) vehicle. Your expertise in aerodynamics and performance analysis will be instrumental in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and reliability of our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, analyze, and test aerodynamics for vehicles at different stages of development
  • Conduct rotor and mission performance calculations and underlying engineering analyses
  • Evaluate component test and vehicle test data to improve analytical predictions and modeling
  • Refine vehicle outer mold lines (OML) to meet aerodynamic key performance parameters
  • Develop aerodynamic databases from multiple analytical and empirical data sources
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to conduct multi-disciplinary trade studies
  • Support test procedure development and execution, ensuring crew and test article safety
Requirements
  • B.S. in a relevant engineering field required; Master's degree or Ph.D. preferred
  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience
  • Experience performing aerodynamics and performance analysis
  • Strong programming skills (Python, MATLAB) and experience with version control (Git)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
