Aultman Health Foundation is seeking an experienced Nursing Professional to join our team as a Cardiac Care Specialist. About the Role:

  • We are looking for a skilled Registered Nurse with at least two years of experience in CVOR, Interventional Radiology, Invasive Heart Lab, or Critical Care. Hybrid OR experience is highly desirable.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing physician orders for consistency, assessing patient condition, and ensuring patient safety during procedures.
  • This role requires excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Patient Assessment and Care: Assess patient condition, ensure patient safety, and provide high-quality nursing care.
  • Procedure Assistance: Assist physicians during invasive imaging and treatment procedures, including scrubbing, administration of contrast media, and image review.
  • Clinical Expertise: Gather and review patient information, communicate with patients or their representatives, and explain exams/procedures.
  • Infection Control and Safety: Practice aseptic techniques, follow infection control procedures, and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Professional Development: Participate in educational opportunities, follow policies and procedures, and update job knowledge.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Education: BSN preferred; BLS and ACLS required.
  • Licensure: Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
  • Experience: Minimum two years of experience in CVOR, Interventional Radiology, Invasive Heart Lab, or Critical Care, with Hybrid OR experience preferred.

Estimated Salary: $83,500 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Working Conditions:

  • This is a full-time position with a primarily day shift schedule, with some flexibility to accommodate changing start times and occasional weekend and holiday coverage.
  • Frequent interruptions and changes in priority of duties throughout the day.
  • Sitting, standing, and moving about during working hours.
