Key Responsibilities- Assist providers with patient care, including diagnostic procedures and treatments
- Perform basic life support in emergency situations
- Provide personalized care and assistance to patients, following the SJRMC Mission, Vision, and Philosophy
- Rooms patients, obtains and/or verifies medical history, medication information, and vital signs
- Administers medications as directed in accordance with nursing standards
- Documents pertinent information in a legible manner, in accordance with clinic and regulatory standards
- Communicates with patients, utilizing excellent verbal and writing skills
- Current New Mexico RN License
- Ability to provide excellent patient care, appropriate to the age of the patients served in the clinic
- Articulate, good communication skills
- Good problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of computer keyboard operation
- BLS certification (within six months of employment as a registered nurse)
- Previous physician clinic experience
The Clinical Nurse will work in a fast-paced environment, with extensive computer keyboarding and some exposure to disease. Overtime may be required.
