Job Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Catalyst AI and future generations of the product
  • Lead the technical design of complex components that support business-critical applications
  • Mentor other developers on best practices
  • Deliver innovative solutions to customers
Technical Requirements
  • Experience managing Kubernetes clusters on cloud platforms (AKS, EKS, GKE)
  • Proficiency in AWS services (EC2, CloudWatch, S3, IAM, VPC, Secret Manager)
  • Infrastructure management, people management skills, administration, and DevOps skills
  • Design, deploy, and maintain Kubernetes clusters across multiple environments
  • Configure and optimize cluster performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Implement security best practices for Kubernetes infrastructure
  • Monitor cluster health and resource utilization using monitoring tools
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Kubernetes cluster operation, networking, and performance

  • Kubernetes Infrastructure Management
  • Design, deploy, and maintain Kubernetes clusters across multiple environments
  • Configure and optimize cluster performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Implement security best practices for Kubernetes infrastructure

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Kubernetes cluster operation, networking, and performance
  • Autoscaling (Karpenter)
  • Infrastructure Automation
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using IaC tools
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment of containerized applications
  • Continuously improve deployment processes and infrastructure automation
  • DevOps Collaboration
  • Collaborate with development teams to streamline containerization of applications
  • Provide guidance and support to developers on best practices for building and packaging containerized applications
  • Work closely with DevOps and IT teams to integrate Kubernetes clusters with existing infrastructure and systems
  • Monitoring and Logging
  • Implement monitoring and logging solutions for Kubernetes clusters
  • Configure alerts and notifications to proactively identify and address potential issues
  • Monitor Kubernetes clusters and applications for performance, availability, and security
  • Security and Compliance
  • Implement security controls and policies to protect Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications
  • Conduct regular security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • 3+ years of industry experience, a background in Kubernetes or application hosting platform
  • Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure)
  • Understanding of monitoring, alerting, and analytics of systems, platforms, and application performance and usage
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure as a code (Terraform, Ansible, Cloud Formation)
  • Experience with Linux scripting (Perl, Korn shell, Bourne Shell, Python)
  • Understanding of API gateway or API hosting Cloud Native technologies, principles, and techniques
  • Any knowledge of Kafka is useful
  • Experience with Concourse will be helpful
