Job Details
  • Position/Specialty: Mother Baby Center, with responsibilities in labor and post-partum care.
  • Shift: .9 FTE
  • Average Daily Census: 8 deliveries per day; 15 post-partum patients per day.
  • Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years in Labor & Delivery with post-partum experience.
  • First-timers Accepted: Yes
  • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend.
  • On-call Requirement: No
  • Floating Requirement: Yes, within scope to meet facility needs.
  • Block Schedule Accommodation: No
  • Local Candidates: Not accepted - must reside outside a 100-mile radius.
  • Pending License: Accepted
  • RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days.
  • Guaranteed Hours: Client may cancel up to 3 shifts without penalty.
  • Special Requirements: Experience with Labor, Post-partum, Cesarean Section, vaginal delivery, and ante-partum care.
  • Unit Information: 13 bed L&D unit, 5 triage rooms, 2 ORs, and 27 post-partum rooms.
  • Partnership: Collaborates with Children's Hospital for care of patients over 28 weeks gestation.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery with post-partum care.
  • Certifications Required: BLS, NRP.
  • Willingness to float to meet facility needs.
Schedule Information
  • Shift: .9 FTE
  • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend.
