Job SummaryWe are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Nursing Assistant to work in our Nursery Level II unit. In this role, you will provide direct patient care, assist with daily living activities, and maintain a safe and clean environment for our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including vital sign monitoring and assistance with daily living activities
- Assist patients with hygiene, elimination needs, ambulation, and nourishment
- Take vital signs, perform blood sugar testing, and report significant changes to the Registered Nurse
- Document patient data in the medical record in a timely manner
- Ensure a safe environment for staff and patients
- Perform duties as assigned under the direction of the RN
- Contribute to the plan of care through communication with the Registered Nurse
- Run errands, transport patients and equipment, and maintain a clean and safe working environment
- CPR training required
- Phlebotomy training and experience preferred
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Six months of experience as a Nursing Assistant, or is a Nursing student currently enrolled in a formal program who has successfully completed at least one clinical rotation
