We are seeking a skilled Russian Interpreter to provide high-quality language interpretation services in a healthcare setting. As a Medical Translation Specialist, you will play a critical role in facilitating effective communication between patients and care providers.

• Provide accurate and timely translation services for patients and families in social and informational settings.
• Maintain a strong understanding of medical terminology and vocabulary in both English and Russian.
• Manage appointment calendars and coordinate with internal and external interpreter resources.
• Accompany patients to outside appointments as needed and apply cultural differences to meet their needs.
• Accurately maintain interpretation tracking forms and schedule agency interpreters for appointments.
• Contribute to team goals by participating in administrative and operational tasks as required.
• Wear a face mask as needed and maintain a clean-shaven face to ensure a tight seal of the respirator.

• High School Diploma or equivalent and Certified Medical Interpreter designation from an accredited institution.
• Fluent spoken and written Russian language skills and excellent verbal communication abilities.
• 0-2 years of experience translating in a healthcare setting, with a preference for experience working with elderly patients.
• Proficient office-based computer skills in MS Office and frequent local travel.
• Covid vaccine required.
