Family Medicine Physician

Discovery Talent Search is seeking a highly skilled Family Practice Physician to join our team. As a Family Practice Physician, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive, continuous care to patients of all ages in a federally designated rural and medically underserved community.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide routine and emergency clinic services, health promotion, and preventive medicine.
- Participate in the practice's call schedule.
- Maintain board certification and required certifications (BLS, PALS).
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record system.
- Submit patient charges in a timely manner.
- Uphold the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
- Serve as a community ambassador, representing the healthcare network.
- Adhere to all human resource policies, including professional behavior standards.
- Actively participate in practice and organizational meetings, collaborating effectively with colleagues.
- Provide supervision and constructive feedback to peers as needed.
- Engage in the peer review program to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an accredited residency program.
- Licensing through the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE).
- Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of practice.
- Board certification in Family Medicine or a related primary care specialty (or ability to obtain within one year).
- Strong clinical skills and current knowledge of medical practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient and team interactions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-based environment.
- Experience in managing chronic conditions and delivering preventive care.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Previous practice experience preferred, though new graduates with a J1 Visa are encouraged to apply.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
