Key Responsibilities- Assist patients with dialysis treatment, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the registered nurse or supervisor.
- Prepare and administer medications as delegated by the registered nurse or physician.
- Conduct routine cleaning and disinfection of dialysis equipment and patient areas.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on dialysis treatment and related health issues.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or related facility preferred.
- Must meet Center for Medicaid/Medicare Services (CMS)-approved state and/or national certification requirements within the required state or CMS timeline.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
