About the Role

">

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at South Seminole Hospital's Med Surg Unit. As a Nurse Practitioner - Med Surg Unit, you will be responsible for administering patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment. You will assess patients' needs, develop individualized plans of care, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Assess patients' needs and develop/revises individualized plans of care based on patient needs and responses.">
  • Evaluate patients' progress toward attaining expected outcomes.">
  • Respect diversity by building respectful relationships with all team members and customers.">
  • Function as a patient and family advocate.">
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his or her assigned.">
  • Serve as a preceptor, charge nurse, unit educator, and/or nurse clinician.">
  • Communicate and collaborates with medical staff and interdisciplinary team to effectively plan and manage the unit/department.">
  • Serves as a role model for staff and supports the hospital and nursing department's goals and strategies.">

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

">
  • ">
  • A valid State of Florida RN license or valid eNLC multistate RN license.">
  • A minimum of one year experience as a Registered Nurse.">
  • BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.">
  • Current ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC certifications (dependent on area).">
  • Knowledge of growth and development principles over the life span.">
