Job Title: Construction Lead Installer

The Midwest Petroleum Equipment team is seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Lead Installer to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the installation of petroleum equipment, ensuring timely and safe completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directly supervise and coordinate the work of construction personnel assigned to crew
  • Communicate with the Construction Foreman and other staff to ensure successful project execution
  • Participate in plan reviews and specifications, environmental regulations, and fire and building codes
  • Assist with safety, pre-construction, progress, and schedule meetings
  • Ensure accurate and timely daily records, including testing records, inspections, schedule progression, material tracking, and photos
  • Communicate with the Construction Foreman regarding accurate time coding and payroll verification
  • Communicate with shop managers to ensure correct parts and equipment are staged for each project
  • Perform weekly safety audits at project sites and submit findings to the Construction Foreman
  • Communicate with customers or onsite representatives to relay progress or convey issues that may arise
  • Assist with personnel recruitment

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the petroleum industry
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Team player attitude and coachability
  • High standards for appearance and professionalism
  • Flexible work schedule, including after-hours and/or weekend work
  • Willingness to travel to projects as needed
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Ability to safely operate industry-specific tools and equipment
  • Willingness to obtain/maintain certifications

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50lbs
  • Ability to stand 8-10 hours per day
