Position Overview
At Bar Louie, we're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Busser to join our team. As a Busser, you will play a critical role in ensuring every guest has a clean and sanitized place to enjoy themselves. Your primary focus will be on maintaining a clean and organized dining area, including tables, floors, and restrooms.

- Demonstrate a strong commitment to cleanliness, sanitation, and safety.
- Provide exceptional guest service by making eye contact, greeting guests, and offering assistance when needed.
- Be aware of potential safety hazards and take proactive steps to prevent accidents.
- Assist with pre-bussing and bussing tables, as well as maintaining a clean and organized bar area.
- Practice responsible alcohol service and involve your manager as needed.
- Support your peers by running food and drinks, and assisting with side work.
- Complete opening and closing duties efficiently to ensure a smooth operation.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate clearly with guests and fellow team members.
- Ability to handle and carry dishware and glassware safely.
- Ability to work with cleaning supplies and use dishwashing equipment.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing demands for your time and attention.
Physical Requirements
Team members must be able to perform the duties of the location, which may include lifting up to 10 pounds constantly and up to 50 pounds as required. Lifting from floor to shoulder constantly and overhead infrequently. Twisting and reaching frequently. Grasping objects to move or manipulate constantly. Working in alternatively hot or cold environments for extended periods of time. May inadvertently bump into team members in a relatively small work area. Will stand and walk for extended periods of time. FREQUENT hand washing and sanitation is required. Ability to use knives, slicing equipment, and other food preparation equipment. Team members must be able to communicate with guests and other team members and manipulate handheld and desktop devices.
