Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Controller Position to join our team at Historic New England.
About the CompanyHistoric New England is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and showcasing American history.
About the RoleThe Controller Position will be responsible for leading our financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the organization's mission and goals.
- Manage and analyze financial data to inform business decisions.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and the board of directors.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in financial management, including 5 years of supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The estimated salary for this position is $115,000-$130,000 per year, depending on experience.
