About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity to join Southern Michigan Bancorp as a Commercial Credit Analyst. As a key member of our credit team, you will be responsible for evaluating the creditworthiness of commercial loan customers and contributing to the loan decision-making process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate financial information for new and existing borrower relationships to determine their financial health.
  • Prepare presentations of proposed loans, including objective recommendations regarding creditworthiness.
  • Assist with bank audits and maintain accurate records.
  • Communicate effectively with the credit team, loan officers, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
What We Offer
