Salary Range: $125,000 - $150,000

About the Role:

Our client, a successful and growing business, is seeking a Controller to lead the accounting process and be a part of strategic planning for the organization. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the finance department, managing financial reporting, accounting, and close activities, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the finance department's day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient and effective financial management.
  • Manage financial reporting, accounting, and close activities, providing accurate and timely financial information to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements, maintaining a strong control environment.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Provide financial insights and analysis to guide decision-making processes, supporting business growth and development.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Controller or in a senior accounting and reporting role within the manufacturing industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations, with a strong understanding of financial analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality financial results.
  • CPA or CMA certification preferred but not required.
