Starting Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour

Shift: Start times vary between 5:30 AM and 8:30 AM. End times are flexible, depending on route completion, traffic, and weather conditions. Your workday concludes once your route and end-of-day responsibilities are fulfilled.

Typically, hours range from 8 to 12 hours a day, with a minimum requirement of working 5 days within a 6-day timeframe (including one weekend day, likely Saturday). Days off are generally scheduled consecutively.

*A Class D (Chauffeur's) License is mandatory prior to hiring for this role.

Job Overview
As a Secure Transport Specialist, you will collaborate with your team to guarantee the safe and secure collection and delivery of cash, coins, and valuable items.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate automatic armored vehicles and other transportation units along designated routes to service client locations.
  • Maintain and service ATMs and Smart Safes.
  • Conduct customer stops, including delivering change orders and collecting deposits.
  • Load and unload vehicle cargo, which may include multiple bags and boxes of coins.
  • Count items, document, and acknowledge receipt of cargo.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by management.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Must possess a minimum of a 3-year driving record.
  • Ability to obtain a Medical Examiners Certificate through a US Department of Transportation approved medical examiner.
  • A valid firearms permit or the ability to meet applicable firearms requirements may be necessary.
Working Conditions
  • Full-time schedule averaging 40 to 50 hours per week, with a minimum of 5 days worked during a 6-day period. Occasional weekend shifts may be required.
  • Approximately 90-95% of work is conducted in an air-conditioned vehicle within individual compartments (front and rear).
Essential Duties/Job Qualifications
As part of the qualification process for the Secure Transport Specialist position, candidates must successfully complete a Human Performance Evaluation (HPE) that includes testing in the following areas:

Physical Requirements:
- Lift: 25 lbs vertically from 10 inches to 66 inches (1X)
- Lift-Carry: 18 lbs vertically from 1 inch to 44 inches and horizontally transfer 15 ft (4X); 18 lbs vertically from 10 inches to 36 inches and horizontally transfer 300 ft (1X); 50 lbs vertically from 10 inches to 36 inches and horizontally transfer 2 ft (2X)
- Push-Pull: Horizontally transfer 47 lbs of force on a sled (single, non-dominant arm) for 1 ft (2X)
- Repetitive Coupling: Squeeze Jamar Hand Dynamometer requiring forces up to 30 lbs with both hands (4X)
- Climb: Ascend/Descend a step with heights of 24 inches (10X)
