Job Title: Assistant Practice Manager

At Millennium Dental, we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Practice Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations across our three practices in Boston, Dorchester, and Cambridge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the leadership of Millennium Dental by overseeing daily operations and ensuring smooth coordination across all three practices.
  • Work closely with Dr. Yazigi and the management team to develop and maintain a positive, collaborative, and cohesive team culture.
  • Implement and manage block scheduling and production-based goal settings to help teams achieve performance targets while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
  • Regularly visit each location to provide on-site leadership, assess team dynamics, and ensure operational consistency.
  • Empower and mentor staff by offering ongoing guidance and support, fostering their professional growth and commitment to the practices.
  • Use Eaglesoft to monitor key performance metrics, providing insight and direction to keep teams motivated and aligned with practice goals.
  • Encourage communication and collaboration between teams at the three locations, ensuring that everyone feels included and integral to the practice's success.
  • Collaborate with practice managers and dental staff to develop strategies that enhance team satisfaction, retention, and overall performance.
  • Assist in financial management, goal tracking, and identifying growth opportunities for team members and the practices.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a practice manager or assistant practice manager in a multi-location dental environment.
  • Proficiency in Eaglesoft, with a strong understanding of dental production metrics and scheduling optimization.
  • A people-first leadership style, focused on fostering long-term team relationships and supporting individual growth.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a talent for building trust and rapport among team members.
  • Proven ability to manage time efficiently across multiple locations and balance the needs of different teams.
  • A proactive and collaborative mindset, with the ability to drive performance while maintaining a positive, team-oriented culture.
  • Understanding of block scheduling and production-based goals, with the experience to implement these effectively while maintaining team morale.
