We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and Plan: Use the nursing process to assess the needs of patients, plan and implement individualized interventions, and evaluate the effectiveness of the plan of care.
- Provide Holistic Care: Implement strategies to reduce patient risk and increase patient safety, and assess patient and family readiness to learn.
- Coordinate Discharge: Actively coordinate the discharge plan utilizing an interdisciplinary approach, and apply evidence-based practice to deliver patient care.
- Collaborate with Team: Promote collaboration among healthcare team members, and demonstrate effective communication, feedback, and conflict resolution skills.
- Leadership Role: Assume a leadership role in the care team, delegate appropriately to unlicensed personnel, and promote a culture of safety.
- Professional Development: Participate in quality/process improvement initiatives, and participate in professional activities that contribute to personal and professional development.
Requirements:
- Licensure: Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices, and Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Education: Completion of an accredited or approved program in Nursing.
- Experience: Typically requires 1 year of experience in clinical nursing.
- Skills and Abilities: Demonstrates progression to provide holistic patient care, proficient computer skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to take initiative and work collaboratively with others.
