RTG Medical-Allied is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel opportunity in Portland, Maine.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the performance of interventional radiology procedures, including angioplasty, stenting, and embolization.
  • Operate imaging equipment, such as X-ray and fluoroscopy machines, to produce high-quality images.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the procedure, positioning the patient, and administering contrast media.
  • Monitor patients during procedures and provide emergency care as needed.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
Requirements:
  • Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in interventional radiology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
