We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Meadville Medical Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating total nursing care for patients, providing leadership, and working collaboratively with other healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate individualized, comprehensive nursing care to obstetrical patients based on the nursing process and in adherence to Meadville Medical Center's Mission and Vision Statement.
- Provide leadership and supervision to other RNs, LPNs, and OB Technicians.
- Develop and implement plans for nursing care appropriate to the patient's needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
- Manage patient care units and ensure optimal functioning and patient care.
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current State of Pennsylvania Registered Nurse Licensure.
- Prefer one year of acute care nursing experience.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certified within one year.
- Satisfactory completion of departmental unit-specific annual competencies.
- BSN degree.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Ability to manage patient care units and ensure optimal functioning and patient care.
