Job Title: Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

Join our team at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital as an Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse. As a critical care nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in our ICU and PCU units.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in our ICU and PCU units.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medication administration, and other medical interventions.
  • Participate in code blue and other emergency situations as needed.
  • Float to other ICU and Med Surg units as needed.
Requirements:
  • BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIH, Michigan RN License.
  • 1 year experience in ICU or PCU.
  • Ability to work every other weekend and be available the entire week of orientation.
Unit Specific Information:

Our ICU is a PCU and ICU patient mix. We have a variety of special procedures and equipment, including CRRT, HD, A-line placement, CVC placement, trach placement, and chest tube placement. We also have a cooling machine, Bair Huggers, and massive transfusions.

Additional Details:

We require an I9, government-issued photo ID, and E-Verify. Proof of name change is required if the candidate has a different name on their documents. There is no guarantee that holiday time off requests will be accepted as holidays are usually required.
