Key Responsibilities: You will oversee the preparation of all meals at the center, following established menus and adhering to both governmental and organizational guidelines.

Core Duties:

1. Guide cook assistants and trainees in safe and hygienic food preparation and service practices.
2. Ensure kitchen equipment is maintained in good working order and that the workspace remains safe, clean, and sanitary.
3. Prepare food for special events, guests, and off-site functions as required.
4. Assist with cleaning tasks in the dining area.
5. Manage inventory and suggest items for restocking.
6. Encourage and uphold excellent customer service throughout the facility.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of six (6) months of experience in food handling.
• Current ServSafe (Food Handler) Certification is required or must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record is necessary.
