As a Life Skills Development Supervisor, you will oversee a dedicated team of four specialists who deliver community-based clinical and case management services to young adults aged 17-23. This role is pivotal in guiding individuals transitioning from resource home care to independent living.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and supervision to specialists assisting young adults in their transition to adulthood.
- Ensure adherence to the agency's service model through regular supervision and consultation.
- Focus on critical areas such as securing safe housing, pursuing education, acquiring independent living skills, maintaining employment, and fostering a supportive network.
- Participate in fieldwork and maintain a flexible schedule, including involvement in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
Qualifications:
- A Master's Degree in social work, psychology, or a related human services field is required.
- Possession of a valid LSW or LPC; LCSW is preferred.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with a proven track record in team leadership.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders and community partners.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are mandatory.
- Bilingual candidates are preferred.
