Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified CDL driver to join our team at Western Star Northwest. As a CDL driver, you will be responsible for picking up and delivering customer vehicles to and from their place of business within the specified regional area.

Responsibilities:
  • Pick up and deliver customer vehicles to and from their place of business within the specified regional area.
  • Knowledge of all laws and regulations as they pertain to transporting commercial vehicles.
  • Adhere to all safety rules and procedures.
  • Ability to communicate customers' concerns and needs in an honest and professional manner to service advisors.
  • Must be a self-starter and willing to take the initiative, able and willing to work with limited supervision.
  • Must have flexibility with schedules as some extended work hours may be required depending on the business need.
  • Must be able to drive automatic and manual transmissions.
  • Any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Must have valid CDL drivers license and be insurable with a clean driving record. 3 years commercial over the road experience.
  • Qualifications: Must be dependable and reliable. Must be professional and safety-minded at all times. Excellent communication both verbal and written, listening skills. Good customer service skills. Ability to prioritize and multi-task. Able to work with minimal supervision and direction. Must adhere to all DOT regulations.
Work Environment:

This position operates in all types of indoor and outdoor work environments, including inclement weather. Noise level is mild to moderate, which are normal for outdoor work.

Hours: Must be available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, night and weekends. Position may also be subject to overtime if business needs require it.
