Job Summary:
LHC Group is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team in Kearny, New Jersey. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing and evaluating patient care needs related to functional status/mobility, endurance/stamina, pain, and other medical conditions. You will work with patients to develop and implement treatment plans, perform interventions, and evaluate progress.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patient's functional status and physical therapy needs
- Assist physician in developing therapy plan of care
- Treat patients to relieve pain, develop and restore function, and/or maintain maximum functioning
- Instruct and inform participating members of the healthcare team, patient, and family/caregivers regarding the plan of care, functional limitations, and progress toward goals
Requirements:
- Current Physical Therapy licensure in state of NJ
- Current CPR certification
- Must have a current driver's license and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle
