Job Opportunity: CT Technologist

Detroit Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team at DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to perform diagnostic CT exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for verifying patient identity, reviewing medical records, and explaining procedures to patients. They will also be responsible for setting up equipment, acquiring images, and communicating data to radiologists.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic CT exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment
  • Verify patient identity and review medical records
  • Explain procedures to patients, including risks and benefits
  • Set up equipment and acquire images as per script
  • Communicate data to radiologists and recognize medical emergencies
  • Provide post-care instructions to patients and participate in process improvement activities
Requirements
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiology (R) or Computed Tomography (CT) preferred
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BLS) training required
  • One or more years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiology or advanced certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
