Job Summary

The GIANT Company is seeking a skilled Meat Associate to join our team. As a Meat Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and ensuring that our meat products are of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities

* Receive and process meat deliveries, including breaking down loads and rotating cooler stock
* Weigh, price, and label meat products
* Stock and face meat cases, and select products for customers
* Prepare valued-added products, such as meat trays and wraps
* Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and making recommendations on meat products
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
* Perform other tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

* Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
* Must be able to read, communicate, and understand company policies and safety regulations in order to complete job duties in a satisfactory manner
* Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base scores for this position, with or without reasonable accommodation
* Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job
* Must be able to work in a cold environment

Working Conditions

* Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts or more depending upon business needs
* Job cycles: continual max
* Lift/carry: 50 lbs.
* Stand 55%, sit 0%, walk 45%
* Category IV: Lifting, carrying, P/P up to 50 lbs.
* Max pull static: 20 lbs.
