Physical Therapist II

Sutter Health is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist II to join our team. As a Physical Therapist II, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitative programs to improve patient mobility, relieve pain, and increase strength.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and implement individually designed physical treatment programs to maintain, improve, or restore physical functioning.
- Complete and document patient evaluations and tests per established standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and update patient plans of care based on data, identified problems, and diagnosis from exams.
- Assess and provide/progress treatment for patients per plan of care per established standards.
- Complete all documentation related to charge capture per established standards.
- Coordinate patient care effectively and efficiently with other care providers and support team members.
- Compliant with other department and organization requirements and responsibilities.
- Work flexible shift assignments, e.g. days of week, hours.
- Provide clinical supervision to assistants and/or aides.
- Serve as clinical instructor for assigned students.
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
- PT-Physical Therapist certification.
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification.
- Recent relevant experience preferred.
- Critical thinking, complex problem-solving, decisive judgment, and ability to work independently.
- Knowledge and application of professional practice and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work in a demanding work environment, organize multiple priorities, and complete work duties within expected timelines and requirements.
- Computer and required technology proficiency/competencies.
- Effective and efficient professional communication (verbal & written) skills, as well as interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, teamwork/collaboration, customer service, and community relations abilities.
- Able to retain and apply new knowledge & skills.
- Keeps abreast of professional practice development and advancement.

Work ScheduleDays, Short Hour, 8 hours, Friday, Saturday, 16 hours per week.
