The selected candidate will work within the Division of Cardiology, providing coverage of our clinical service in the inpatient setting and outpatient Cardiac Cath Lab. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive health assessments, establishing medical diagnoses, ordering diagnostic studies, and prescribing medications.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing high-quality patient care and adhering to our high standard of excellence
- Conducting daily documentation of care and maintaining accurate records
- Managing acute changes in clinical condition and communicating with attending cardiologists
- Maintaining ongoing communication with physician collaborators and Chief Medical Officers
Qualifications include:
- Nurse Practitioner: Current NYS RN license, Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited school, and AANP/ANCC certification
- Physician Assistant: Current NYS PA license, Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited school, and NCCPA certification
