Job Title: Line Cook

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at The Goodstone Inn & Restaurant. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food in a timely and efficient manner. You will work closely with our Executive Sous Chef to ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
  • Follow recipes, controls, portions, and presentation specifics as directed
  • Responsible for performing other related duties as assigned by the manager
  • Follow proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes as directed
  • Handle, store, and rotate all products properly

Requirements:
  • High school or equivalent
  • A minimum of 1 year of cooking experience and demonstrated knowledge of food trends, quality, production, sanitation, presentation, and food cost control

Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional hospitality environment. You will be required to work effectively in a stressful environment, communicate with others, and effectively interact with guests. You must be able to accept constructive criticism from supervisors and maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition.
