Job Summary

Tact Staff is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a travel assignment in a critical care setting. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a wide range of respiratory conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, and acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS).
  • Set up and monitor mechanical ventilators, as well as perform other critical care duties such as airway management and tracheal suctioning.
  • Conduct EKGs, type report interpretations, and send reports to physicians as needed.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a critical care setting.
  • Current licensure in the state of New Hampshire.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
