Overnight Security Guard

Education & Qualifications:
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid Driver's License recognized by the State of Pennsylvania. A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required. Previous security experience is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate a positive demeanor and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. The role requires the capacity to perform well under pressure while consistently maintaining a professional appearance. Availability for night shifts is essential, and the ability to walk throughout the entire shift is required.

Summary:
The primary responsibility is to ensure the safety and security of the premises at all times. This includes conducting rounds on the property, inspecting all buildings during non-operational hours, and monitoring trucks that are making deliveries or pickups.

Essential Functions:

• Conduct patrols across all DelGrosso properties and designated work areas to enforce company policies and procedures.
• Verify that all building entrances are secure.
• Monitor for any suspicious activities.
• Ensure the property remains free of unauthorized individuals.
• Report any issues or concerns to the Security Manager.
• Recognize and address any suspicious behavior as necessary.
• Inspect buildings for potential water or electrical hazards that could lead to fire risks.
• Check the temperature of various freezers and coolers to ensure they are functioning correctly.
• Complete nightly reports detailing all activities encountered during the shift.
• Adapt to various weather conditions, including direct sunlight, heat, humidity, rain, hail, and cold.
